<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>An observation of the management of active and latent tuberculosis with multidrug resistance of the causative agent of the disease in children from the same family has been presented. The efficacy and safety of a short, fully oral chemotherapy regimen with the use of new and repurposed drugs in a child with active pulmonary tuberculosis has been demonstrated. During the preventive treatment of latent tuberculosis infection for six months no adverse reactions after taking levofloxacin were reported. In one case, preventive treatment of latent MDR-TB was not carried out due to co-pathology newly diagnosed before taking the drug.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>дети</kwd><kwd>туберкулез</kwd><kwd>множественная лекарственная устойчивость</kwd><kwd>новые режимы лечения активного и латентного туберкулеза</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>children</kwd><kwd>tuberculosis</kwd><kwd>multidrug resistance</kwd><kwd>new treatment regimens for active and latent tuberculosis</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Клинические рекомендации «Туберкулез у детей» / Российское общество фтизиатров. – 2022. https://cr.minzdrav.gov.ru/recomend/507</mixed-citation></citation-alternatives></ref><ref id="cit2"><label>2</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Можокина Г. Г.
