Abstract

This article discusses the principles of implementation of monitoring of tuberculosis in the big city with a high concentration of population, migration flows and the pressure of a large number of inhabitants belonging to risk groups for this disease.
It emphasized the need of the formation of the multi-tasking hierarchical TB monitoring system, which may include several related registers according to directions of TB activities.
The basic principles and design features of tuberculosis monitoring systems, were discussed including: the division of the tasks of the individual monitoring of the TB patient management and monitoring of tuberculosis at the level of institutions / territories, use case based registers, sharing information needed for standard TB reports and current operational analysis in accordance with the emerging challenges, entering information carried out on the basis of recording and reporting forms, providing them with high-quality filling, use a flexible hierarchical multi-tasking software – systems of medical database management, with minimal custom programming and etc.
The article emphasizes that an effective monitoring and evaluation system should be aimed, above all, not to demonstrate successful performance, but on the opening of the existing problems, the description of the activities undertaken to address them, and assess their effectiveness.

Abstract

In this review characterized the results of using of the main DST methods designed for investigation of drug susceptibility of mycobacteria of M. avium-intracellulare complex (МАС). The focus was on the drugs used in studies by serial microdilution method (Sensititre SLOMYCO).
